Past

I am sat here talking,
with a tear in my eye,
All these memories,
are making me cry,

A pain in my chest,
cutting real deep,
I really miss you,
even in my sleep,

We were so strong,
look what i did,
I ruined it all,
like a spoilt kid,

I hate myself so much,
every single day,
If i had been careful,
you may have chosen to stay,

I wanted you back,
I want my best friend,
I would do anything,
but it has come to an end,

I am broken and torn,
I am scared and alone,
I just cannot accept it,
I am now on my own.
