As the days go by
You pass me in the halls
Saying nothing.
Not even a swift "hi"

I Know i hurt you,
And i make you mad.
But the other day i read something you wrote
And it made me sad.

You explained how everyday
We would be together
Together in love,
Together forever.

I promised I wouldn't hurt you,
And that I understood
Everything you went through
Because I had the same childhood.

But now It's to late.
There nothing that i could do
To mend your broken heart
That I helped break too.

I've said that I'm sorry
Over and over again.
But sorry is just a word,
A word is just something to be said.
