Scary Plunge

by Claire   Jan 10, 2006

Put the pistol to my head
I'm ready to pull the trigger
I'm just at my break
This pain that I live with
Is just too much to take
With one single movement
As I leave all my friends
And what I was abused with
I could pull it right now
And leave this dreaded life
Escape to better place
Or just stay and hide
There is help out there
But it's hard for me to seek
This gun's right here
It all seems too real
The shiny silver tube
The cold hard feeling put up against my head
I've ran into a wall
All the doors have began to shut
I don't know what to do
My heart is starting to race
I know that this is wrong
But with everything behind me
I take the scary plunge
The gun then drops
With one single tear
Glistening in my eye
I decided to go get help
Now I know
What I need to survive
To get on with my life
