The Unseen Hero (Part 1)

by Poetic Tragedy08   Jan 10, 2006

*Note* This is part one of a two part series. This will one shows the before pain and the next shows the after joy. Hope you all enjoy. Also, to make things similar, I have a heart disease and one night it felt like I was having a heart attack...so hopefully that helps

A skip on beat, one joins the pain in my heart
Thoughts race faster then any that has been set
I start to tear slowly, it forms a pain so deep
Facing me toward death in my losing bet

My heart beats so fast I begin to lose my breath
One thought is cast upon my head, startled...I shake
The one soul I love so much I will never forget her
Unto my heart of my love I can finally take

I smile wider then this ocean as I remember
All the good times we hold in our hands
Things unforgotten and all unveiled to an audience
Though we have not lost it like grains of sand

I remember your smile as I form one too
Death comes closer as each passing minute carries
I remember all we've said to each other
I'll be there the day you will get married

Not in body, just in mind, soul, and heart
The day of redemption is coming closer to me
I slowly drift as the pain intensifies
I close my eyes so you'll be the last thing I see
