Feelings Lost

by Sherry Lynn   Jan 11, 2006

Feelings Lost

The pain is disappearing
With help of new drugs
So is feeling your tender touch
All is now lost in an effort to relieve pain

I will miss so much
Feeling your breath
While whispering in my ear
The way you stroke my neck
Attempting to ease my fears

Your kisses of love
When telling my good bye
You patting my shoulder
As we sleep as night

Theses memories I will forever cherish
In hopes that one day
I can experience them again
And never taking for granted
Your touch upon my skin

This is very sad, but so well written. Each line emits so much sadness and pain, quite impressive.

    Wonderfully written....so sad...but wonderfully done.
