I tried to hide from the truth, but he chased me down,
He made me face him, he turned me around,
He told me what I didnt want to know,
I had to listen I wish that werent so,
He told me I was in love and it was for real,
I had my lovers heart which I did steal,
I am sorry if I cause my love pain,
I am sorry if in the end there is nothing to gain,
Why will I do it? I do not know, I guess I am scared,
To you, I know I am acting unfair,
Perhaps I am using that as an excuse,
I am doing it again; Im hiding from the truth.
