Janes goodbye

I would like to read you a letter,
From a girl named Jane,
A girl that is not here anymore,
For her life was filled with pain,

This lay next to her body,
When she was found blue and cold,
This is her story,
And through me it will be told.

Why do you always treat me,
Like a piece of dirt,
Why do you think its funny,
When you know it hurts,

I tried to be the best person,
I could possibly be,
I always help others,
But not by giving them things you can see,

Calling me those names,
Making me feel so small,
Every time you kick me out,
The streets I would trawl,

When that man done those things to me,
You called me a liar and slapped my face,
Told me to shut up,
Told me to get back in my place,

Why can you not understand,
I have done nothing bad,
Why do you treat me this way,
And insist on making me sad,

I have never asked for anything,
I just would like some love,
To feel as if I am wanted,
To know what is a hug,

Have you ever wondered,
Why I act this way,
Crying myself to sleep at night,
Praying I could float away,

Looking at the photo,
Of the person who loved me so,
But that person is in heaven now,
That is where I must go,

Tears flow down my face,
And leave streaks along the page,
Then I have no emotions left,
No sadness, no guilt not even rage,

I have a glass to my left,
Some pills to my right,
I have lost the will to carry on,
I have no need to fight,

I am feeling tired now,
Heading to the place in the sky,
I would like to thank you for your time,
This is my last good bye.

That is the sad end,
Of one fatal life,
A girl that will never grow up,
Have kids or be a wife,

There is many other,
Girls who sit alone and cry,
Jane will not be the end,
Or be the last good bye.
