The Interview

by GoddessOfWings   Jan 11, 2006

Unfaithful eyes; why do you look at her so?
Are you repulsed by what you see so badly?
Does it hurt for you to observe the art before you?
Art is full of flaws. And flaws are beautiful.

But not her; right?

Stubborn mind; why do you reject her so?
Is she really so hard to unlock?
Do you always give up on challenges so easily?
Challenges are full of life. Life is precious.

But not hers; right?

Cruel heart; why do you frown upon her in shame?
Is it so hard for you to accept her for who she is?
Why would you want to make her feel so dead?
Death can be a rescue. Rescues can save souls.

But not hers; right?

"I hate what you've turned me into."
And with that having escaped from her bitter lips,
She turns away from the mirror.
