Is true love just once in a lifetime
I ask myself tonight.
Can it ever fade?
Will it ever end?
Or could that which creates us
also keep us alive?
Is it fair to say we could find it again...
That the word goodbye is not eternal.
We let go of people, but we hold on to hope,
Our lives move on but our hearts stand still...
afraid to move...
to shatter their delicate composures.
With every new day we learn,
With every new lesson we grow,
And with every new step we may falter.
The road of life is rocky,
and even the surest foot may stumble..
But with a love so pure to light the way,
we are given wings to carry us through.
While flying up so high we are given a new view of the world below us...
we tend to notice only the good
and realize that it's worth fighting for.
Never lose sight of this, and never give up...
Trust in love, for it never fails.
