BIRD SONG!

by Chris   Jan 12, 2006

A young bird in his mother's nest; just coming out of his egg shell ball!
What does the world look like as he cheeps his unique bird call!
Will he survive the cruel world ahead or would he at his first plunge fall!?
At last there is much he needs to be taught before he can really flap
his wings,
To protect him from the vultures and their claws on him not singe!
Learn to master his destiny and to it always cling! To avoid their
deathlike stings!

But alas! His enemy is faceless and a remarkable cruel assassin, she kills without remorse,
Her face she has hidden bearing a holy cross and proceeds like death
riding on a horse!
His female foe is skillful and has sharpened her talons long, over
time,
Is that a kill? Is there potential for working treachery? She is first
in line!
She is very seductive, proudly exposing her breast feathers to distract her unwary prey,
But with a bold face she shallows him down whole and how fast she
swoops away!

Beautiful indeed when one is able to grow skills to protect himself
from such a unkind enemy!
Fools you with cunning so real and lies so sinful it affects your heart,
your chemistry!
Why would this beautifully colored bird be called a cruel bird of prey?
Maybe she is hurt, maybe she is lost or maybe she just seeks to
establish her slick way!
She is definitely confused or just callously evil, who knows what she
really wants?
Who knows why she awakes every morning or why she hunts?

Majestic, queenly bird now only her ghosts remain!
She haunts this time only in my brain!
My world has become a little bit clearer and my vision sound, I can proudly raise my head!
For with your wilds and tricky lies I no longer have to be in dread!
And soon all memories of her will be forgotten but sometimes it does make one think,
How could such a pretty strong bird suddenly become extinct!
