Black and White Photographs

Black and White Photographs

Look at her smile
And the gleam in her eye
Though there is no color it is clear
She is so happy standing there

Black and white photographs
They tell us so much
Yet leave us an imagination
To fill in the gaps

Look at the skies
Not a cloud nearby
Imagine the sunshine
Beating down behind the scene

What color is her dress
I imagine his suit is black
I love this photograph
It tells me of their love

Though just black and white
I can still see
How they loved each other
It is a piece a family heritage
