Battle, Useless Battle

Once upon a shattered life
There lay a girl
A life as mine

Broken homes in abundancy
What's with such hypocracy

In flood waters pulsing in
(Literally and figuratively
So Much is she reflected in me

The President may just as well
Be in the Hospital
In a coma

Next on the adgenda
Saddam musy die
And all the nation hears
Are the soldiers cries
Of Battle, Useless Battle

And what does it mean
To live in prosperity?
All in our abundancy
Is Greed.
