What Lies Within

by ~*You are my only one*~   Jan 15, 2006

Ninety miles away,
From salvation that lies so deep,
No one to truly care for her,
As she begins to weep.

Many deaths within,
A year that became so long,
Soon a short time later,
Sadness became her song.

The weight of past things,
Brought upon her emotional strength,
Made life seem so complicated,
And an unbearable length.

O thought this was a good piece of writing but i hope you don't mind me saying that at some points it could have flowed better. i hope you don't hate me. but on the plus side, if you read any of my work you'll soon see i know nothing about writing poetry, and so you'll be able to 'trash talk' my work as much as you like and not feel bad. but this is about your work and not my own. i think you've written this piece rather well. the wording was very good. it was intelligent, creative and placed superbly. well done

P.S. i'll like you just as much if you decide to discredit my poor attempt at writing poems
