The Only Great Adventure

by Lost Without Her   Jan 16, 2006

The only great adventure,
is heat and fire and flame,
not existing in a fishbowl,
where no one is the same.
The hurt just keeps on coming,
that's all there is for me,
but no one out there sees it,
I cover up quite well,
but even in the happy times,
insults and pain still dwell.
Yelling, screaming, slamming,
is what I know too well,
what I wouldn't give,
for just one day in Hell.

I have no place in Heaven,
of there I only dream,
"you must be mad", I hear you say,
but I'm not all I seem.
The bad outweighs the good,
which is why my life's such shit,
constantly insulted and waiting to be hit.
It has, as yet not happened,
but in the future I can see,
an entourage of beatings,
are what's in store for me.
It's just because I'm different,
see life a better way,
can laugh and joke with my friends,
even though I'm gay.
It's obvious I'm evil,
maybe from elsewhere,
from a far and distant planet,
where we breath and evil air.
I'm sick and cruel and twisted,
but I'm hurting just like you,
yeah, I fancy women, but I'm also human too!

I just can't wait to leave here,
of death I have no fear,
I'm searching or one happy place,
where I can say "I'm queer."

If Satan has a spare seat,
I'm doing all I can,
to get a little nearer,
to be his biggest fan.
In Hell, I can be what I am,
'cause down there all is fine,
the evil, twisted people have the greatest time!
They know the great adventure,
is heat and fire and flame,
and there I will be welcomed,
by all those who feel the same!
