Wish From Shadows

by Momentary Relapse   Jan 19, 2006

In shadows I have watched you
Mourning for my sudden demise
I cried whenever you did
But how can I spare you the lies

My pale form aches to be with you
Needing to feel comforting arms
A protection only you can give
Where I feel none of the alarms

In the night I long for your love
I want to show myself to you
To prove to you I am still here
I am alive which you never knew

But I cannot show myself
I fear that I will do you wrong
No matter how much it hurts me
From your life I have gone

My dark soul is a corrupt thing
I will not taint you with my life
I fear killing your innocence
For now I carry my own strife

But worry no dear mother
For I will do the best I can
To return into your mortal world
To be once more human

Great poem....not one of your best but still really great...
And yes i do still stand by what i said in "Masquerade"...you should send some of your poems into publishers...im not sure if you could like write a book of poetry...but its worth a try...you've got a better shot at it then most poets i know...its just teh way you word your poems...its almost like shakespeare...but better because its not about love or any crap like that...so yeah i still stand by it...

Brillian flow and fantastic content, the vocab and emotions are strong and perfectly used.
