Life Goes On

Life is a deep river of confusion,
when things go good and the pain is gone.
But then things go bad,
but life goes on.

We were together,
we stayed up til dawn.
We got in a fight,
but life goes on.

We went to a dance
you said I looked like a swan,
in a beautiful dress all white,
wishing time would stop, but life goes on.
