Stumbling

by shenoa   Jan 20, 2006

I'm blind and confused
stumbling over whats real, whats true
my eyes covered
i couldn't see the real you
i can't believe you would go
leaving me angry and hurt
no good-byes
that cut the deepest
you left me screaming
you left me pleading
you left me bleeding
cold and alone
hungry and shamed
i cant lift my head
a broken doll that once stood proud
now crumbled to the floor
mingling with dirt and dust
wandering in the dark
fallowing no path
lost and torn
i begin to crawl
nothing left inside
i reach out, yearning to see
then i hear him
his cry bringing light my way
it warms my face
it fills me up
all my pain, my hurt, my fear
disappears into his eyes
my precious baby boy
