Shatter

by KitchBlood   Jan 21, 2006

Tomorrow leads to yesturday,
the present spans forever,
teardrops glisten on the sand,
I waste away my eternities.

Smiles hide the screams inside,
shadows laugh at the pain,
I sit before my empty pit,
my black hole heart within.

Sigh into the darkness,
secrets on one else can hear,
make sure no fire ever lights,
to burn you to the core.

On thrones of ice
and roses thorn, listen,
echos speak, they say to me
nothings left to fight for.

On broken wings I tried to fly,
made it just high enough,
to fall like a stone through pools of bliss,
and shatter on the ground.

I liked it. The only problem with it is in the 3rd stanza, 2nd line you have on one instead of no one. Other than that it is good. Keep up the good work becuase you have alot of talent. *5/5*
