Rippled Water

by bri   Jan 21, 2006

The lake seems so calm.
But it can so easily be persuaded,
As a gust of wind causes the water to ripple.
Almost as if it was awaken by it's greatest foe.

A little solitary dragonfly would land on a lily pad from time to time.
But yet never intended to disturb the peace.
We all have done it once in our life.
We all have thought about rippling the water.

But when our good conscience kicks in, the dragonfly slowly dies.
