That Girl..

I'm that girl with all the friends
that makes everybody laugh
the girl who looks so puzzled
and always cuts up in class.
the one who's smile is a mile wide
stretches from ear to ear
the one who's jokes are drop dead
just wait until you hear.
she goes through a lot more
then she lets people know
she hides pain inside of her
and doesn't let it show.
the girl who longs for the past
the one who doesn't understand
always seems to be hurting someone
always pulling back her hand.
that girl everyone likes
but doesn't really know
they just hang around her
cause she can make their smile show.
she knows that's what she is to them
and doesn't really care
hey, she's helping somebody
and that's why she's there.
I'm that girl who'll be there for you
and I'll try to make you feel at home
I don't want anyone else to feel like me
and that feeling is alone.
