It was just today
that i saw you standing there
the first time in a long time
it sort of even gave me a scare
i didnt know what to say
i could barely even stand
my arms and legs were like jello
and shaking, were my hands
at first i saw your face
and then i heard your voice
i felt it was all coming back
i could've stood up to rejoice!
I remembered those times
when we were together
we were so in love
i thought we'd be forever
but no matter the time
that we spent so far apart
our love was truely there
and is forever in my heart
