I wish people would stop it!

I wish people would stop it,
stop always knocking me down,
It doesn't bring me a smile,
only a tear and a frown,

I wish people would stop it,
shouting this abuse at me,
those words rip me to shreds,
If only this, they could see,

I wish people would stop it,
Hitting and marking my skin,
it doesn't just damage the outside,
also damages my body deep within,

I wish people would stop it,
ignoring my pleas and my cries,
Everytime these things happen,
a part of me inside just dies!
