Because Of You Mom...

by LossxOfxControl   Jan 22, 2006

You tell me I’m sick
Because I use the knife
To take away the pain
But look at you, you used to hate life

Look at yourself
Lift your sleeves and look at your wrists
And then tell me
That my pain doesn’t exist

You know what your saying is wrong
But that doesn’t stop you
Does it, I wanna know why
You have to do the stuff you do

Telling me I’m wrong
And how hated I am
Then I look around and see your right
Nobody gives a damn

You’ve got the scars
Is this what happened to you
When you were my age
Is this how your mother treated you?

I remember the day
Before all this pain
When you and dad were happy
But that’s just a sad trip down memories lane

I’ve decided that
I’m not going to stay here
Anymore living in hell
Where you’re always around to interfere

So here I go
Knife in hand
Place it against my wrist
Praying, in my vein it will land

The blood will pour
And you will see
That I wasn’t bluffing
I was just trying to be me

You wouldn’t allow that
Because of your own past
I don’t why I let it get to me
And I didn’t know how long it was going to last

So this is my last moment
Good bye to all
I’m disappointed in myself
For taking this final fall

But has to be done
Because of what you put me through
I’ll never forgive what you’ve done
Remember Mom I never loved you!

Please Comment, It would mean soooo much to me!

Truly amazing, you portrayed everything so well and got your emotions across. Love the way you used past references and experiences to explain the actions of the present. inspiring altogether.
