Always On My Mind

I try to break away,
to find somebody new,
but all I can think about,
is how much I want you.

You gave me air to breathe,
and taught me how to cry.
And though I try to free myself,
you're always on my mind.

I want you, I want you,
I want to touch your skin.
To rest my head upon your shoulder,
as we see the dawn come in.
To lie beside you late at night,
and watch you as you sleep.
To be the one to hold you tight,
to be the one you keep.

This is another old old one and it's more of a rhymy (new word) piece than a nice poetic one. But I like it because its just plain and simple.
