SEARCHING FOR A PLACE

Prolonged feelings of emptiness, loneliness and sadness,
Trying to find a place to lock it all up,
but this place seems so far and cannot be found.
Why has it chosen me? Is this what I deserve?
I scream, I cry, I choke,
yet no-one has heard me or ever noticed.
I wait, I wish, I dream that maybe someday, I will find this place where I can throw all these feelings away, lock them up and hope they won't return.
But this place seems so far and cannot be found!
