Jaded

by Esther Wathen   Jan 24, 2006

Im slowly falling
Into this gentle abyss.
Finding everything
In a solitary bliss

Bringing all this pain,
And letting out all this grief.
Has caused me to lead
You in this false belief.

The wrongly made assumption,
That you carelessly made.
Claims that nothings wrong,
That I am not playing a charade.

You just do not fathom,
what you’ve been persuaded.
You do not understand,
How much I am jaded.
