Twas the night before disaster

by Laura   Jan 24, 2006

It was the night before disaster
all were at the house
seven people filled Paige's room
downstairs was dad and spouse
There was reason for this
otherwise it wouldn't be
for Header and Katelynn
were leaving NC
we giggled and laughed
and stuffed our face
there was no way a soul
in that room was safe
we jumped on the bed
and tackled each other
i got punched in the face
and Paige nearly smothered
we finally passed out
on the bed and the floor
four of them were moving
in darkness galore
when we all awoke
the morning was bright
but no happy faces
were to be seen in sight
one by one
we were saying goodbye
as each and everyone of us
started to cry
from that night till today
we'll all say the same
that night changed our life's
with loses and gain
we still don't understand why
what happened, happened that day
but the five of us would have blown up Florida
if Header and Katelynn could have stayed.
