Left With A Broken Heart

You never told me you love me, but I love you,
I thought you loved me, but that was not true,
All the time I spent, and words I said,
I thought you loved me, but you caused me to hurt instead,
I hate that love can be so unfair,
I love you, but for me you do not even care,
and you move on in your life like I am not even there,
I really wish your love I could have won,
But I cannot change what has been said and done,
So in my mind I will make in place,
where you will become a memory that I can embrace,
then I will move on and a new life I will start,
But for now, I am left with a broken heart.
