Sinners Sanctum

I'm the child of raging wars
Raised to harden hearts
Yet through the midst of broken chaos
Are our dreams now torn apart

Disciples we are of today's generation
In a world of war and peace
As the children hide from hidden fury
In a land of make believe

For every star there lives a story
Another tale for you to tell
As we sit and hear in sinners sanctum
The fiery depths of sinner's hell

Consumed we are by prophecies
Knowing all except our own
Then we venture through the great unknown
Sharing our lives of broken homes

We sat and watched our King call forth
His Queen to service needs
Then once bored with her, he calls again
This time the Queen sends forth her seeds

Our knees are now a bloody red
From screaming useless prayers
As troubled teens we try to crawl
And leave behind our blackest fears

We vibe to music that reflects our past
Unholy or not at all
This love, this hate, those silent nights
Is what built this solid wall

The more we search for something right
The more trouble corrupts the mind
Filling the voids and open wounds
With what we believe to never find

So here we sit at Sinners Lear
And we've long left you to waste
Now we laugh with a sinners heart
This way our tears, we never taste

"Now we laugh with a sinners heart
This way our tears, we never taste"

I can interprut (sp?) so many meanings from those last two lines.
How can this not have any comments yet??
It was brilliant. A wonderful piece of dark poetry.
    Keep it up!
