The Girl In The Mirror

I look in the mirror....
Every single day.....
Wondering if that girl in there,
Will have something to say.

All she does is stare at me....
With those deep, dark, tired eyes...
Does she want to be set free?
From so many disguisting lies?

I can tell her heart is broken,
I can tell she has been used.
I can tell that she's not happy,
I can tell she's not amused.

I'm not sure what she's gone through,
Or if she wants to leave...
I'm not sure what to do.
Does she want to go to sleep?

She opens her mouth,
But speaks not a word.
I can tell by her face,
She wants to fly like a bird.
