i remember all the things you said
how you would always be there
and how much we meant to you
even though you didn't know us long
you never forgot a name
always knew our pain
you were the one to count on
i talked to you
and ate supper with you
i remember you trying to think of my name
all the times we laughed together
you went in for surgery
and came out fine
but a week later
i got that call
they said something happened
i didn't think this could ever happen to me
but i guess it did
its hard to believe
that i lost some one close to me
i never got to say goodbye
i kept you in my prayers
while you were in surgery
but God didn't hear me
he took away your life
from all the people who loved you
just know that you are always going to be in our hearts
we will never forget you.
