I Can't Save You

I wish you could see,
The world through my eyes,
Being everyone's "counselor",
And hearing their cries.

Today my mom beat me,
Just... no one can tell,
There are no scars on the outside,
Emotionally I'm not well.

She tells me she hates me,
And wishes I would die,
Maybe this is the reason,
For every night I cry.

Slowly a tear forms,
And drops down my face,
The problems of others,
I can't stand to embrace.

It's ripping me apart,
To see them hurt so,
But I know I can't do anything,
And it makes me feel so low.

Please Note: my mom doesn't beat me, this is about my friends who come and tell me their problems, kind of like a sample story, but thanks to everyone who cares.

    I know what you mean by everyone coming to you with thre problems. im like the leaning post that everyone props themselves up on when they cant stand on there own two feet. you sounds like a v decent friend if you friend trusts you enuf to tell u her problems .gd poem

    Sometimes, its ok to tell someone that they cant talk to you about their problems at that minute, it is very emotionally draining. so dont be afraid to say, "i cant talk right now." because you come first in life.
