When the World Shuts You Out

by Elina   Jan 27, 2006

When the world shuts you out
And you have only yourself
To rely on and talk to
And just think to oneself

No one can help you
Because they're all the same
Someone is lying
Yet you're the one blamed

Who do you trust
When you don't know what's real?
It's hard to explain
It just feels so surreal

So what do you do
When you have this feeling?
Try to let it all go
And begin the healing

Yes, it's hard to let go
But it's now of the past
Where it should stay
Where you talk of it last

You have no one now
Maybe that will change
And if that doesn't happen
It shouldn't be strange

When the world shuts you out
Don't let yourself go
Keep it together
And just help yourself grow

For maybe it's hard now
But soon can be turned
Into some what of a story
A lesson that's learned
