I want to somehow say thanks
For always being there for me
Because even when I didn't,
You knew what I could be

Thanks for pushing me
To be and do the best
Thanks for assuring me
That I could pass any test

Thanks for getting mad at me
If I didn't put any effort
I was just scared of failure
But you're always there for comfort

So I would take the risk involved
To prove that you can trust me
I think that you use reverse psychology
To get me to be what I need to be

Now I laugh because I know
That you got mad because you cared
Not because you gave up on me
But because you knew the potential was there

And I just want to thank you
For always believing in me
For never doubting for one second
That I had the strength in me

And even though we are doing wrong
With the relationship we have
If at the end we break apart
You'd still be the best friend I've had

For you never gave up on my silly self
Even when I wanted to
You nagged me till the job was done
Oh how I wanted to choke you (lol)

I've done everything
Because of you pushing me on
Now because of you
I don't need anyone to move on

I believe in what I can do
And you don't have to tell me so
Because you've taught me everything
Even when its time to let go

I think I can hold on to myself
I don't need you to push me anymore
Because you believed in me
I'll never be what I was before

For understanding me
