Bracelets

I open my jewelry box
and put on my bands
they slip easily over my hands

the elastics snap
and the charms jingle
as they hang and dangle

some girls wear them to look pretty
i wear them to cover scratches
like hurt hiding patches

thick ones cover better
but thin ones work too
cant you tell i dont wear my bracelets like you do

    This is a very different view of hiding pain. I really like it, it shows that you have a creative side and that's good especially in writing poetry. Keep up the good work. :)
