Blade Of Sorrow

by †Undone♥   Jan 28, 2006

Waiting to get over this,
Depressions sinking in.
Crying into the bathroom sink,
Knowing I wont win.
For in my mind, hes coming back,
This suicidal voice.
Trying to get rid of it, for this I wont rejoice.
"Cmon, do it" He keeps saying,
Sometimes he gets so loud.
"It will end your misery"
He starts to say it proud.
"A flame inside will smoke me out"
He says as I look at the fire.
"Kill yourself, you know you want to"
Why doesnt this voice tire?
Finally, it gets to be too much,
I am thinking about tomorrow,
When they see my cold, dead, corpse,
Clutching onto this Blade of Sorrow.

Aw thank you for the comment.

This is a good poem, but I have one suggestion. Where it says "Sometimes he gets loud."

replace with "Sometimes he gets so loud" So the poetic timing would place emphasis on the word "so" and the pentameter would flow better.

Other than that its great! :)
