You Don't Matter

by Kaye   Jan 29, 2006

A spot of color
Where there are none.
A splash of paint
When I am done.
The colors contrast
Against the other.
See the difference
And understand.
One in a million,
You're all alone.
Feel the difference,
You don't belong.
Look around you,
You're out of place.
See them laughing
Behind their hands.
Feel the glances
They send your way.
The pitying smiles
That you get.
The false sympathy
In their eyes.
You don't matter,
They seem to say.
Just keep it down,
Their actions portray.
We don't need you,
Get out of our sight.
Well fine then,
You know what?
I'm out of here,
I'm long gone!
