What could be worse in this world,
then having someone close that's not your girl?
To know that you want much more,
that just hanging out you won't settle for.
Of course you must keep this all inside,
and just be there for her and by her side.
To just hope that one day you will both be one,
and be able to help her raise her young son.
Don't get it wrong, it's hard for her too,
to be with someone but knowing she wants you.
To understand that she made a mistake,
but must stick by it for her son's sake.
She's all messed up and so confused,
If it were a year ago it would be you she would choose.
But like they say "if it's meant to be it will be",
that's just what you'll have to wait and see.
Life is crazy as you may know,
people may come and most may go.
But I must be patient and give it time,
'cuz i know one day you will be all mine!!
