Lack of Inspiration

Just now my inspiration, has dried up, gone away
And I can no longer write, the things that I can't say
I sit and want to lay things out, but it doesn't work that way
And so I've given up again, at least for today

My imagination's gone AWOL, lost without a trace
And right now my poetry, is naught but a disgrace
Though my body's willing, my mind just can't keep pace
And so I sit here just now, stony look upon my face

So what to do, when my thoughts have run?
And ideas won't come, not even one?
The thought just rose up, like the sun
I'll write about having no ideas just for fun
