You tried to
Get my heart,
But I wouldn't let you.

You tried to
Open my eyes to the truth,
But I shut them.

You tried to
Get me from getting in the car,
But I refused and got in.

You prayed
For me,
But I didn't feel it.

You saw
The crash and shed a tear.
I didn't see it, because I'm no longer here.

I saw you,
On judgment day,
Wishing this would all go away.

I saw you
Shake your head,
As I fall down the endless step.

You see me
Wake up,
And I start to cry.

You tried to
Get my heart,
And I gave it without a doubt.

You can't wait until something happens to you, to change what your doing!! You have to change it now, before something does, and you regret it!!
