The one with the brightest eyes
The one who made everyone smile
The one who brought us all together
The one we should've had forever

The one who stole my heart at birth
The one who always had that devilish smirk

My son, you lived life so hard and fast
Life with you was always a blast
The ray of sunshine God gave me is gone
The cloudy days are lasting so long

The memories and good times
make my heart break
But too never have known you
I couldn't take

So even though you weren't here long
My love for you will always be strong
In my heart is where you'll always be
Even though I'd rather have you here with me
