Blade of a Warrior

by Ike Dizzle   Feb 4, 2006

As I walk through the desert
With my blade on my waist
Protecting the innocent
And always braced
Punishing the wicked
Me, who it stalks,
My blade is his faith
His faith will be caulked
With my blade in my hand
Many shall fall
As I seethe my blade
I feel extremely pall
Even though my strength leaves me
I’ll still do my duty as protector
Even when I’m gone
I will protect you as a specter
When you feel the wind
Think of it as my blade
My blade that still protects you
Even though my body begins to fade

(Didn't know what catagory to put it in so i went with the closest thing to mind)

I liked the rhymes and inparticularly the last two lines. I begain to drift a little in the middle, between 'Punishing the wicked' and 'When you feel the wind'. I know that's a rather lager gap, but I just think that th bits inbetween could have been much stronger.

That ones really cool, (Im running out of poems by you to read!!!) It has great imagery and I can see you swinging a blade around....actually I can just see someone swinging a blade around in general. Its one of your best, very medieval. I liked.
