Silence

by Nearly but not quite   Feb 4, 2006

Mute, unable to communicate,
I try to speak but all you hear is hate.
I try to make you listen, to see,
But all you see is the silent me.

I cannot speak so I make signs,
Poems and underage drinking fines.
But you can't read you're deaf to all,
So I into this Hell must fall.

I want so much to tell you,
Listen to me, I am so blue.
If you'll only understand
How alone in this world I stand.

But you can't hear, you're deaf and blind,
So in Hell I'll forever be confined.
Listen, please! For God's sake!
Feel my heart see how it aches.

Here you see my broken heart.
This is why from this life I depart.
Don't search for me among the trees,
But rather below stormy seas.

Please comment/ vote, I will always try to return the favour!
