Here We Are

Here we are
just the two of us
driving down the road
At the beginning of the night
we were just friends
now were more than that
some may think
what they want but
we know the truth
some may get mad
but thats not
enough to tear us apart
for the first time
i feel cared about
i mean really deep down
cared about
not because of the way i look
but for me
the person that i really am
here we are
i never thought I'd
get the chance to be yours
but i did
and i am
and i don't have a doubt in
my mind
cant find one
don't want to
not scared of losing you
don't have to be
not scared of
letting my walls
down for you
to get thought to me
Here we are
alone outside
the sky filled with stars
the night ended
with us looking
into each others eyes
and then you
gave me this
gentle kiss
and we stood there
and then i hugged you and held on
then i let go and you went home
that was the perfect ending to
a perfect day for me.

    I love this poem...even if you already read it to me and know what my comment is!!!! so here's this... I know that HE cares about me and i do not want him to feel like he has to say that he loves me if he doesn't because that is not what i expect from him!!!
