Depression tinted glasses

by katie!   Feb 7, 2006

Oceans turn from blue to grey
Islands turn to rocks
Magic turns to terrorism
Happiness it stops

Shadows walk the streets
And bodies lay the ground
The silence it is deafening
The madness of no sound

Trees burn in dull fire
Eyes no longer shining bright
Demons lie in wait
Hiding just out of sight

Depression tinted glasses
Turn a smile into a frown
Maybe one day I'll take them off
And feel laughter all around
