I wish I were dead

by beth   Feb 8, 2006

I wish I were dead
It’d be easier that way,
Wouldn’t have to fake a smile
Every day.
I wish I were hit by a car,
By a man who abuses his wife,
So no innocent person would hate themselves
For taking away my life.
I wish I could start over,
Or never have started at all,
Complete depression draws closer,
The feeling of hope is small.
I wish I could just be forgoten,
And suddenly disappear,
All memories of me to be lost
With out anyone shedding a tear.
