Faculty Dream - beautiful

by Rachael Young   Feb 8, 2006

Into my thick warm covers,
Of my comforting bed,
I lean back on my soft pillows
And rest my aching head

Closing my deep blue eyes,
Attempting to get to sleep
Everything around me slowly disappears
And inside my head i dream so deep

My eyes open wide,
To the whistling of small singing birds
This world of happiness and love
Is something no one can exchange in words

Beauty in its highest form of passion
In which speech can not explain
All the suffering and tears
Were all washed away by the rain

Skipping along on the soft green grass
Leaving tread marks in the ground,
The real world, and this extactic illusion
their differences are profound

Its greatness affecting like the sand
With its penetrating heat
Feeling the warm sensation
Clashing against your feet

With its beauty and alluring profile
Forcing out our soul
Like a puzzle putting in the last piece
Making the picture whole

enticingly impulsive dominating in its atmosphere
with its want of your lifes desires
Producing life to wondering spirits
Like the electricity made by adjoining wires

But this world will disapear and be forgotten
My brain will delete the rays of my faculty dream
For now i must awake another day
And face the real world to its extreme
