The Truth

by Matt Fleckney   Feb 9, 2006

As we sit and wait
For the end to come,
We start to talk.
We talk about life,
And the lack of faith
In the world today.

Nobody believes anything anymore.
Not even what they say
With their own mouths.
They can say anything they want,
But nobody says the truth.
They may think they are,
But the truth,
Isnâ??t even known anymore.

We never even knew the truth,
Though many say they have,
The truth doesnâ??t even
Exist.
