Sometimes its better to let go
of what you do and who you know.
the seasons change from dark to bright
times change day to day and night to night
letting go may take a while
but once it's done
you have a smile
moving on with new memories to make
your innocence that boy did take
life is filled with ups and downs
new states, cities and even new towns
from hollywood to D.C
we live different lives incredibly
you end up loving and then you part
for now its time to mend the broken heart.
it may hit you in a poem
one day you'll see how much you've grown
or it may come from a boy in an email
or from captain hook and his ship he did sail
either way now you know
its better to eventually let go**
