Moonlight Romance

by Simon Hayes   Feb 9, 2006

Upon the grassy meadow
Staring at the moon
Whispering sweet nothings
As owls all sing their tune

Fireflies linger
The crickets serenade
Wishing that the end
Of tonight could be delayed

Midnight breeze around us
We snuggle up so tight
forming pages of our romance novel
On such a glorious night

A kiss beneath the moonlight
Embrace below the sky
Dazzling moonlight romance
Beautiful, passionate high

My heart is melting. The last two lines are so perfect, and they say everything that needs to be said. So romantic. Beautiful!
